Locals rave about the authentic Neapolitan-style crust and the quality of ingredients, especially the fresh mozzarella di bufala. They appreciate that it's a neighborhood spot where families feel welcome and the prices stay reasonable for the quality you get.
π½οΈ About 300 Gradi
Just a short drive from Vasto lies this little pizza gem that locals have been keeping mostly to themselves. 300 Gradi sits in the charming seaside town of San Salvo Marina, where the Neapolitan pizza tradition meets that relaxed coastal vibe you came to Italy to experience. The name refers to the temperature of their wood-fired oven, and trust me, they know how to use it.
The menu here is all about authentic Neapolitan pizza done right, with that perfect leopard-spotted crust that comes from serious high-heat cooking. Their dough gets the proper 24-hour rise, and they’re not shy about using top-quality San Marzano tomatoes and fresh mozzarella di bufala. Beyond the classics, they offer creative seasonal toppings that showcase local Abruzzo ingredients, plus a solid selection of antipasti and local wines to round out your meal.
The atmosphere strikes that perfect Italian balance between casual and caring. It’s the kind of place where families gather for Sunday dinner while couples enjoy intimate conversations over wine. The interior has a modern-rustic feel with exposed brick and warm lighting, while the small outdoor area lets you soak up those Mediterranean evenings when the weather cooperates.
This is exactly the type of spot I love recommending to friends visiting the area β authentic, unpretentious, and serving food that locals actually eat. While tourists crowd the Vasto waterfront, you’ll be enjoying some of the region’s best pizza in a genuinely Italian setting. The short drive from Vasto is absolutely worth it for pizza this good.

Lovely little place. Food was nice.
Excellent pizza al metro.
Excellent pizza Passing through San Salvo, we stopped at this pizzeria. They welcomed us kindly and let us sit outside. We ordered the vegetarian pizza, which was a surprise. Crispy crust, mozzarella, and vegetables with zucchini chips. Congratulations
