π½οΈ About Passucci
Tucked away on Via Casetta, Passucci is one of those wonderful neighborhood gems that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a well-kept local secret. This intimate trattoria embodies everything I love about dining in smaller Italian towns β it’s unpretentious, authentic, and run by people who genuinely care about good food and making you feel welcome.
The menu here celebrates traditional Abruzzese cuisine with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. You’ll find beautifully prepared seafood dishes that showcase the Adriatic’s daily catch, alongside hearty pasta preparations that have been perfected over generations. The kitchen takes pride in their handmade pasta, and their approach to cooking is refreshingly straightforward β let quality ingredients speak for themselves without unnecessary fuss.
The atmosphere at Passucci strikes that perfect balance between cozy and convivial. The dining room feels like someone’s well-appointed home, with warm lighting and simple, comfortable furnishings that invite you to linger over your meal. There’s an easy, relaxed energy here where conversations flow as freely as the local wine, and you’ll often hear animated Italian chatter from neighboring tables.
I’d recommend Passucci for anyone wanting an authentic taste of Vasto’s dining scene without the tourist markup or pretense. It’s the kind of place where you can have a satisfying meal, practice your Italian with friendly staff, and leave feeling like you’ve experienced something genuinely local. Make sure to save room for whatever dolce they’re featuring β you won’t regret it.

Family place. All are wonderful and very attentive.
The pizzeria is located on a small street close to the center, with easy access and very little parking. A wide variety of pizzas and meats, salads, pasta, and alcoholic drinks are served, all without friendly staff.
More than good food, polite people, good atmosphere
